ABOUT EAST BAY REPUBLICAN CLUB (EBRC)
East Bay Republican Club (EBRC) is the successor club to the long-established East Bay Republican Women. In order to reflect our inclusivity and outreach, and in recognition of the unique political environment of the East Bay, we now welcome men and women, Republicans and Independents, as full members. Our members come from all over: Oakland, Piedmont, Alameda, Orinda, Hayward, Berkeley, Castro Valley and surrounding areas. We are the largest issue-oriented, conservative club in the East Bay, providing a monthly forum to learn about issues and exchange ideas.
EBRC holds monthly meetings (luncheons as well as early evening events, plus a splendid Tea in February and a pizza party in June) for members and guests that focus on current legislation, Republican candidates, and issues of concern at the state, local and national level. Recent speakers have included Dr. Williamson Evers (Independent Institute), Mark Krikorian (Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C.), Joel Pollak (Senior Editor, Breitbart News) and Harmeet Dhillon.
Additionally, we host a great conservative book group which is open to all members.
For more than 40 years EBRC has been dedicated to promoting mutually-held values: limited government, national sovereignty, lower taxes, and personal responsibility. History demonstrates that when these principles are in play, freedom, prosperity, and civil society flourish.
